Born and raised in Williamsville, New York, college studies took her to Barry University in Miami Shores, Florida. She graduated in 1986 top of her nursing class with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN). Working as a registered nurse from 1986 until 1997, she specialized in cardiac care.
In 1989, she married Michael E. D’Angelo. From 1990 to the present, both have been working in the financial services industry. With her husband Michael, they founded Treasure Coast Financial Corporation in 1994. In November of 2000, Carol completed the course work and exam required to become a Certified Financial Planner.
Although she continues to work fulltime, Carol is one of the founding members of the Tanzanian Cardiac Hospital Foundation, Inc. Charitable works have always been very important to Carol. She was an active parishioner at St. Lucie Catholic Church. Her duties included Minister of Hospitality, Extraordinary Minister of the Holy Eucharist to the homebound and adult altar server. She is a past member of the St. Vincent de Paul Society and co-chairperson of the St. Lucie Catholic Church dinner dance fund raiser. Today she is a parishioner at St. Andrew Catholic Church, Stuart, Fl.
